Dear Anglers,

The San Diego Team Series held the Tournament of Champions for the EL Cajon Ford Night Series at Lake El Capitan on Saturday October 4, 2014. We had a field of 29 teams that qualified for this event ready to compete for the grand prize money.
The TOC was free for all 29 teams and all they had to do was show up. The teams were fishing for $10,600.00 worth of cash prizes that were accumulated throughout the year from all team entry fees. The payback for this event was better than 1-in-3 teams would cash a check for this event. There are no other circuits in town that will offer a FREE TOC and pay this deep to the field.

During the angler check-in, we had the famous BBQ Pit sandwiches and chicken dinner plates for all the anglers to enjoy before the championship commenced. The San Diego Team Series is the only circuit that offers a fully catered dinner at all of our events.

The winners of the 2014 Night Series TOC went to Curtis Arneman & Brent Kearny with a three bass limit that weighted 17.95 with 3rd big bass of the tournament of a 8.60 lbs. Arneman & Kearny took home $4,000.00 for their 1st place finish and $50.00 for the 3rd Big Bass for a total winnings of $4,050.00 Great job Guys with the 1st place win and we hope to see you next season.

Second Place went to Randy Lewis & Justin Schuff with a three bass limit that weighted 14.96 lbs with the Big Bass of the tournament an 9.46 lbs. Lewis & Schuff took home $2,000.00 for their 2nd place finish and $300.00 for the Big Bass for a total winnings of $2,300.00. Great job Guys with the 2nd place finish and we hope to see you next season.

Third place went to Andy & Jackson Paluczak with a three bass limit that weighted 13.79 lbs with 2nd Big Bass of the tournament of 9.03 lbs. The Father Son Team took home $1,250.00 for the their 3rd place finish and $150.00 for the 2nd Big Bass for a total winnings of $1,400.00. Jackson Paluczak caught his personal best during this tournament, which was the determining factor for the top finish. We are so happy to see the young anglers in our events and it has been a blessing to watch Andy and his son have such success. Great job Guys with the 3rd place finish and we hope to see you next season.
